FlipbookThis flipbook shows the beginning of a tree sprouting from the ground and slowly turning into a flowering tree. The first few pages show the scene taking place and a sprout coming out from the ground. Next, the sprout is growing leaves and growing bigger. Then, it begins to snow and the tree loose's it's leaves. After that all the leaves on the tree are completely gone, it stops snowing and slowly all the snow melts. Then finally, the leaves start to come back and little buds begin to come out of some of the branches, and then the buds bloom and become flowers. but I didn't get finished to draw the flower petals falling off and apples growing. I used a notepad and a pencil. The big idea behind this is the circle of life. My goal for this flipbook was to get it finished and get it outlined, I didn't get it finished and didn't get it outlined. My overall thoughts on this flip book is how much time and effort I put into it and the design of it. 12/15/17 Motion in Art/ BlogIn the beginning of this I needed to envision on how each step would be created and how it would look after I drew it on the page. When I did this I wanted to express my feelings and because its winter right now and when it turns spring everything will grow back even better than the last time.

To celebrate thanksgiving we made hand turkeys, but we got to design our turkey hands into anything we wanted to make. For example, a zombie, santa, a princess and other things we could make our turkeys into. I made mine into a zombie turkey. In the beginning of starting to create mine, I knew exactly what to do. So for each step I would envision every new detail that I was going to add and draw it on the turkey. Motion in Art, 1st sculptureFor the first sculpture I did for motion in art is a miniature christmas mobile . It was small because I wanted it to be small but it was also very hard to create because it was small. Mrs. Underhill thought it was going to be a diorama, but my original thought was just to make it small. It was taking a long time to just make the small one, so I just stopped doing it and moved on to do another motion in art sculpture. When I was in the middle of creating it, I started to observe around the room at what the other students were doing for theirs. Motion in Art, 2nd sculpture After when I stopped doing the mobile sculpture I started thinking on what this one could be. It had to be something that showed movement and I thought of flip books all of a sudden because they show movement with many pages. So for this one I decided to do a flip book. My flip book is a tree sprouting from the ground and slowly growing into a tree and then slowly losing its leaves because winter is coming. I'm still working on it right now.
